What Is The Blessing Project?

 The Blessing Project is a nonprofit initiative based in Detroit, Michigan that focuses on paying down or paying off student loans for working women whose student-debt-to-income ratio is high. We then further support these women with mandatory financial literacy classes, which will improve their station in life and change the outlook of their immediate families. We target women who have successfully graduated from an accredited college or university and obtained meaningful employment but still find that the American Dream is out of reach. Our goal is to put that dream within reach, empowering women to break out of the cycle of poverty, achieve homeownership, and build generational wealth.

Our vision is to build one of America’s go-to resources for helping women carrying a high student-debt-to-income ratio get out of student debt, get on their feet financially, and build generational wealth.

Mission: 

The Blessing Project puts the American Dream within reach of women who find themselves saddled with student loan debt.
